MEDICAL HISTOLOGY TEXT & ATLAS

The basic theme of Medical Histology is to present the knowledge of microscopic anatomy in a simplified manner so that students can easily understand it. The basic principle of explaining correlation between microscopic structure and function has been adhered to in the 8th edition as well. In this edition, greater emphasis has been placed on the clinical application of the knowledge of normal microscopic structure of the cells, tissues and organs on the comprehension of various pathological conditions and disease entities. To augment the comprehension of various topics, descriptions given in the text have been supplemented by a large number of images of microscopic slides and multiple explanatory diagrams.
