Medical Laboratory Technology 2 Ed. is a multiauthored book in which an attempt has been made to prepare a document to give a guideline to the students of basic laboratory medicine. It consists of 25 chapters in basic laboratory medicine. It contains, where necessary, the illustrations and photographs that will help the teacher and the students. Where necessary, the procedures are also mentioned. The chapters have been named instrumentation, biochemistry, histopathology (a brief review), investigations on infertility, and a fair-sized chapter on the clinical laboratory investigations on various common diseases. Therefore, this book may be read in combination with other books on individual subjects just the same way we take the help of some books in teaching Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, etc.
